Privacy Policy

Maeve is software for Arizona assisted living homes, published by QuinTek LLC (“QuinTek”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal information we handle on this website, maeve.care, which is the only context this document covers.
Two things are worth stating at the outset:
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. No advertising network, remarketing pixel, or data broker receives anything from this site.
- We ask for information in exactly one place: the form on the Get started page. Everything else on this site is a page you read.
This policy does not cover the Maeve service. When a home uses Maeve, the residents’ and staff’s records it holds are handled on the home’s behalf under the home’s Services Agreement and Business Associate Agreement with QuinTek, not under this document.
1. This website
Analytics
This site may use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. Where it does, it is configured as follows, and these settings are what allow the statements above to be true:
- Google Signals is off. No cross-device or demographic profile is built.
- Advertising features are off.
ad_storage,ad_user_data, andad_personalizationare denied on every visit and are never requested. - Data retention is 14 months, after which Google deletes the event-level records.
- IP addresses are truncated by Google before storage.

Your answer to the cookie question is stored in your browser’s localStorage under the key
mv-consent, for twelve months. That is not a cookie: it stays in your browser and is never
transmitted to us or to anyone else.
Your choice about analytics
Where the law requires consent before analytics may load, we ask for it, and nothing loads until you accept. Everywhere else, analytics runs unless you decline, using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Declining after accepting both withdraws consent and expires the analytics cookies already set. Accept and Decline are the same size and each takes one click.
Your color scheme
If you choose light or dark in the footer, that choice is stored in your browser’s localStorage
under the key maeve-theme. It is never transmitted anywhere, and choosing Auto removes it.
Records of visits
Apart from the analytics described above, we do not collect or review records of individual visits to this site.
2. The Get started form
The form on the Get started page is the only place this site collects information about you, and the only way to contact us from this site.
What we ask for: your name and email address; the name and city of your home, how many residents it has today, and how it keeps records now; what you are writing about; and anything you choose to write in the message field. A phone number is optional.
What we do with it: we read it and reply to you, and if you become a customer, we use it to set up your home. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not pass your details to anyone.
Our lawful basis, where that concept applies, is your request that we take steps before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering people who write to us.
The form may be protected by a bot check. Where it is, the page loads Google reCAPTCHA v3, which decides whether you are a person without asking you to solve a puzzle. To do that, Google receives your IP address, information about your browser, and how you interacted with the page, and returns a score. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, which are linked beside the form.
Please do not send us health information. Nothing on this form needs it. If you are writing about a specific resident, describe the situation without naming them.
3. Who else processes this information

Both are United States companies certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, together with its UK Extension and the Swiss-U.S. framework.
This website is intended for visitors in the United States.
4. How long we keep it
Messages are kept while we are corresponding with you and for the duration of any customer relationship that follows, plus the period we are required to keep business records. If a message leads nowhere, we delete it within 24 months.
Analytics records are deleted by Google after 14 months.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, or to withdraw consent you previously gave.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined in United States state privacy laws.
To exercise any of these rights, use the Get started form and choose A privacy request. That form is the contact channel for this policy. We will respond within the time the applicable law allows, which is 45 days in most United States states. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
6. Children
This site is aimed at people who own or run assisted living homes. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
7. Security
The site is served only over an encrypted connection, and form submissions are delivered to a mailbox protected by multi-factor authentication. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
9. Who we are

This website publishes no email address and no telephone number, deliberately. The Get started form reaches us directly and is the correct route for every purpose, including privacy requests and complaints about this policy.
